The owner, Streetlights Residential, requested Blue Quality Services provide our Building Enclosure Quality Assurance Program to verify that the building and all of its systems and assemblies were designed, installed, and tested to meet the owner’s requirements.
During construction, our field services team performed testing on operable doors and fixed windows in accordance with AAMA 502 and AAMA 503 specifications. Our sampling strategy allowed us to verify the installation of the windows and doors throughout the complex, gave actionable feedback about subcontractor performance, and helped identify inconsistencies that could lead to systemic problems if not addressed during construction. Testing reports were provided to our client immediately following the tests to reduce delays in the project schedule and enable quick remedial actions.
